If you’re looking to travel around the world without going too far then Epcot World Showcase is the place to be. Featuring 11 different countries along with food and speciality shopping for each, you’re sure to be immersed in the culture pretty fast. We have put together an extensive list of each country represented here with food and beverage, shopping and entertainment options for each. Read on for more.
Mexico

Food and Beverage
- La Cantina de San Angel is the counter service option in this country in Epcot. It offers standard Mexican food such as tacos, nachos, churros, and margaritas. You can get pretty good views of the night time fireworks here if you come in the evening.
- La Hacienda de San Angel is a table service restaurant with indoor seating that offers authentic Mexican cuisine. Prices can be a little steep here. It does however also have great views of the Epcot World Showcase Lagoon. So, it’s also a great spot to take in the fireworks.
- San Angel Inn Restaurant is a table service restaurant that offers traditional Mexican food. We love that they also have several healthy options on the menu. In addition to the food, we love the ambience of this restaurant. You’re dining in a night time plaza where you can see the boats of the Gran Fiesta Tour go by. This makes for a dark, romantic type atmosphere.
- La Cava del Tequilla is the place to get Mexican tequilla. Also, you can learn a little about the history behind it.
Entertainment
- Gran Fiesta Tour – This is a boat ride that features the 3 amigos from the 1944 film The Three Caballeros. Donald Duck goes missing on his way to a performance in Mexico City. His 2 friends Panchito and Jose set out to find him.
- Meet Donald Duck in his sombrero right outside of the giant Myan pyramid.
- El Mariachi Coco de Santa Cecilia performs music inspired by the Pixar film Coco.
Shopping
- The Plaza de Los Amigos is where you’ll find most of the shopping. It’s set up like an outdoor nighttime market. Here you can find many authentic Mexican souvenirs. Many of the crafts are made right there in Epcot World Showcase. This is also where you can buy the famous sombrero.
- La Princesa de Cristal is a neat glass blowing shop that has crystal figurines and jewelry.
Norway

Food and Beverage
- Kringla Bakeri og Kafe is where you can find many delicious pastries and snacks. This is also home to the fan-favorite “school bread.”
- Akershus is the table service restaurant in Norway where you can meet the Disney princesses. They have an American breakfast served family-style. For lunch and dinner, they switch over to a Norwegian-style buffet.
Entertainment
- Meet Anna & Elsa at their Royal Sommerhus.
- Frozen Ever After is the very popular attraction at the Norway Pavilion in Epcot World Showcase. Here you will find all of the characters from Frozen, including an awesome Olaf animatronic.
Shopping
- The Puffin’s Roost is the place to be if you like shopping. You can find all sorts of imported goods here, such as jewelry, sweaters, and Helly Hansen sportswear. Also, this is where you will find the great smelling fragrance, Geir Ness.
China

Food and Beverage
- Nine Dragons Restaurant is the table service restaurant at the China Pavilion in Epcot World Showcase. They serve authentic Chinese food, but it’s a little on the pricey side.
- Lotus Blossom Cafe – You can also find your standard Chinese cuisine here. Prices are cheaper than what you’ll find at Nine Dragons since this is only a counter service restaurant.
- The Joy of Tea is where you can find teas and coffees. “Tipsy Ducks in Love” is the favorite at this stop.
Entertainment
- Reflections of China is a show all about the Chinese culture and the landscapes of the huge Asian country. They have screens that go all the way around the room which make this a really cool and unique experience. However, you’ll have to stand up through the entirety of the show, as there is no seating available.
- Mulan Meet & Greet near the Reflections of China building.
- Shanghai Disney Resort Museum where you can learn all about Disney’s newest theme park and resort.
- The Jewel Dragon Acrobats put on an outdoor acrobatic show starting at 4:00 ET.
Shopping
- House of Good Fortune – You can find great park souvenirs here. It really doesn’t even feel like you’re in a theme park at all when shopping here. For example, you can buy paper lanterns with really neat designs, incense, and all sorts of panda merchandise, which wouldn’t be found anywhere else on Disney property.
- Good Fortunes Gifts sells some of the same items as House of Good Fortune. However, its located right outside of the pavilion, so you have quicker access to the merchandise.
Germany
Food and Beverage
- Karamelle-Kuche is a shop serving handcrafted caramel treats from Werther’s Original. Here you will find delicious snacks such as caramel apples, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, caramel popcorn, and yummy s’mores. You should definitely check this place out when visiting the Germany Pavilion in Epcot World Showcase.
- Biergarten serves a German-style buffet for lunch and dinner. This is considered a table service restaurant. You’ll find traditional German foods such as frankfurters, sausages, rotisserie chicken, potatoes, salad, spaetzle, bread, etc. Biergarten gives you a little taste of Oktoberfest with live music.
- Sommerfest – Counter-service restaurant serving bratwurst, jumbo pretzels, sandwiches, apple strudel, and beer.
Entertainment
- Snow White Meet & Greet outside by the wishing well.
- The Margret Almer & The Bavarian Band is on stage for five days a week.
Shopping
- die Weihnachts Ecke – This is the place to find ornaments and Christmas decorations with a German twist. Also, don’t forget to look for the pickle to hide in your tree! This is a German holiday tradition.
- Stein Haus – The focus here is on beer. They sell beer steins and graphic T-shirts. Of course, they also sell beer.
- Weinkeller – Has a variety of German wines. You can also buy wine, beer, and cider by the glass.
- The Kunstarbeit In Kristall is where you’ll find a large selection of crystal jewelry and decorations. They will also take an image of you and turn it into a laser-cut photo.
- Der Teddybar – If you have kids, they’ll love it here. This is a toy store that sells stuffed animals, train sets, and some other toys. They also have a variety of Haribo candies.
- Volkskunst is a German shop that is stocked with Cuckoo clocks, hand-painted eggs, hats, and German crafts. They also sell beer steins, one of which you can only find in Epcot World Showcase.
- Das Kaufhaus – A great location for soccer enthusiasts. You can purchase jerseys for some of your favorite soccer teams, balls, and other related accessories. They also sell some footwear and traditional German attire here.
Italy

Food and Beverage
- Tutto Italia Restaurant is a nice, table service restaurant that serves authentic Italian food.
- Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar – For a more laid back, but still romantic experience, Tutto Gusto is a cheaper alternative to Tutto Italia. They serve appetizers and light bites. They also have a nice selection of wine and beer.
- Via Napoli – A sit-down restaurant that serves pizza and other Italian foods. We think this is some of the best pizza on Disney property.
- Plaza al Taglio is a grab-and-go pizza place in the back left corner of the Italy Pavilion.
- There’s also a stand in the front of the Italy pavilion selling delicious gelato.
Entertainment
- Sergio, the mime and the juggler – Although Italy doesn’t have a lot of options when it comes to entertainment, we definitely recommend checking your Times Guide to see when Sergio will be performing. This is a very fun and engaging show that will be sure to bring you a lot of joy.
Shopping
- Il Bel Cristallo is where you can find leather handbags, fine jewelry, Murano glassware, and some Italian perfumes.
- They also have some nice little shops selling Italian espresso coffee, yummy chocolates, and all sorts of wine.
American Adventure
Food and Beverage
- Regal Eagle Smokehouse serves barbecue dishes and craft beer. This counter-service restaurant is brand new to Epcot World Showcase as of late summer 2019.
- The Fife & Drum – A vendor that serves hot dogs, Turkey Legs, and smoothies.
- Block & Hans is a cart that serves Mickey pretzels and American craft beer.
Entertainment
- American Adventure Show – Hosted by Mark Twain and Benjamin Franklin, this 29-minute show takes you through the highlights of America’s brief past. It mixes animatronics with images on a giant screen, which makes for a pretty entertaining experience. Also, this is a great place to get out of the Florida heat.
- Voices of Liberty – You can find this very talented acapella group right inside the American Adventure Theatre. They sing patriotic tunes as you wait for the American Adventure Show to begin.
- American Heritage Gallery – An art exhibit where you can find pieces representing American Indian culture and history.
- American Gardens Theatre – You’ll see many different musical acts here. Check the Times Guide for more details.
Shopping
- The Heritage Manor is a small shop where you can find a limited selection of souvenirs such as pins, toys, apparel, and houseware.
Japan

Food and Beverage
- Teppan Edo is a table service restaurant served hibachi-style. You get some entertainment as you dine here. The chef comes out and cooks the meal right in front of you, showing off his culinary skills.
- Tokyo Dining is also a table service restaurant in the Japan Pavilion of Epcot World Showcase. You’ll order off the menu here instead of eating hibachi-style.
- Takumi-Tei Restaurant is an upscale, table service location that opened in July of 2019. It’s very pricey but offers one of the coolest dining experiences in all of Epcot. Also, you get to learn all about the Japanese culture while indulging in some tasty dishes.
- Katsura Grill – A counter service option that serves traditional Japanese cuisine such as udon noodles, sushi, Japanese curry, and teriyaki. This dining location offers indoor and outdoor seating. If it’s a nice day we recommend sitting in the beautiful outdoor gardens, modelled after the Katsura Imperial Villa in Katsura, Japan.
- Kaki Gori – A stand that sells shaved ice. They have both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available.
Shopping
- Mitsukoshi Department Store – is where you’ll find some of the best shopping in all of Epcot. It’s not hard to get lost in this place. All sorts of Japanese souvenirs can be found here. The store is divided up into sections. Hello Kitty, Pokemon plushies, Kingdom Hearts figures, and collectable Japanese swords can be purchased at Mitsukoshi. As you head further in, you’ll see Japanese footwear, clothing, and even some kimonos. We also love to try some of the Japanese candy they have for sale.
Morocco

Food and Beverage
- Spice Road Table – Known for having the best view of Epcot’s night-time fireworks. They serve small plates here, with an emphasis on seafood. Live entertainment is included with your neal.
- Tangerine Café – The counter-service option in Morocco. They serve Mediterranean-style food. It’s a great option for Vegetarians.
- Restaurant Marrakesh also has some nice live entertainment to compliment your meal. You can enjoy some great Moroccan cuisine here such as couscous, shish kabobs, lamb, and various types of seafood dishes.
- The Moorish Café and Pastry Shop is the place to get your speciality coffee and pastries.
Entertainment
- Musique Aramenco is a Moroccan band that mixes classic and modern music. They perform on the stage right on the outside of the Morocco Pavilion in Epcot World Showcase.
- Jasmine Meet & Greet at Lamps of Wonder.
Shopping
- Casablanca Carpets has all sorts of neat Moroccan merchandise. You’ll see beautiful hand-made carpets & rugs, lamps, incense, traditional Moroccan instruments, unique apparel, etc. Some of these items can also be found at the vendor set up right outside of the Morocco Pavilion.
- The Brass Bazaar – Stocked with lots of beautiful home decor and kitchenware.
- Median Arts – Where you can find unique crafts you would find in Morocco.
France
Food and Beverage
- Les Chefs de France – From escargot appetizers to crème brulee for dessert, this table service restaurant isn’t missing much in between. Casual family dining for lunch and dinner. You can expect to receive upscale, attentive service while dressed in normal theme park attire.
- Monsieur Paul Restaurant – Very elegant and located on the second floor, prepare for a gourmet dining experience that is only open for dinner and no kids menu available. Also, as far as dress code goes, they do request that no tank tops be worn.
- L’artisan des Glaces – Who doesn’t like ice cream? Especially the real deal. This counter-service parlour offers tons of ice cream flavours, sorbet and some macarons just like they have in France.
- Boulangerie Patisserie Café is another quick service option France has to offer for sandwiches, croissants, coffee and desserts.
- Aux Vins de France allows you to purchase wine by the glass to taste as well as champagne. Also, a wine cave is located inside so you can purchase a whole bottle if you like.
Entertainment
- Impressions de France – This 18-minute film will take you through the country in a way most could not experience otherwise. Although the screen is not 360 degrees, the film will still immerse you into the culture and you are sure to leave with a new outlook on France.
- Belle and Aurora Meet and Greet out front close to the fountain.
- A well-known area for photos is found right in front of the fountain. Oftentimes a cast member will be standing there to take your photo with the Eiffel Tower right behind you. What more could you want?
- COMING SOON – A new ride coming in 2020 is Ratatouille, themed after the movie.
Shopping
- Boutique de Cadeaux – This gift shop sells tons of Paris themed items, especially the infamous Eiffel Tower in all kinds of shapes and sizes. Here you can also find a lot of Aristocats merch starring “Marie.”
- Le Esprit de la Provence – A different variety of products such as tea towels, cookies, French herbs, cookbooks, aprons, soaps and even little girl’s dresses are found in this area.
- Guerlain Paris / Givenchy – Two stores connected through a small hallway known as the Arcade. Here you will find tons of makeup, perfume/cologne, lotions, handbags and more that are native to France and some not even sold in other stores throughout the U.S. Another perk they have to offer is personally engraved perfume/cologne bottles.
- Some smaller shops and kiosks are located out in front of the France pavilion. First, we have Crepes de Chefs de France which serves different types of crepes. Then there is Les Vins de Chefs de France which serves wine, champagne and slushies for those looking for a good drink around the world.
- As for some non-food shops, there are two close to one another. One that we have actually bought from ourselves includes caricature/silhouette framed art. We actually had the silhouette done of ourselves, and we did not leave disappointed. Lastly, there is a cart selling parasols. These are also very elaborate in the paint and artwork done on them; the perfect gift for little girls.
United Kingdom

- Yorkshire County Fish Shop – Fish and Chips worth talking about are found none other than in the United Kingdom. This quick-service restaurant is located out in front of the pavilion and has seating areas lining the water. Also, a great spot to watch night-time fireworks.
- Rose and Crown Pub – Everything from well-known fish and chips to bangers and mash (English sausages on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes). Rose and Crown also offer a Tea Experience complete with brew tips, scones, and sandwiches. This is available Thursday – Sundays and reservations are strongly recommended.
Shopping
- Twinings Tea Shop – A variety of tea flavors, as well as British toffee and UK candy, can be found here. If you’d like to try some traditional tastes of the United Kingdom, this is the place.
- Queen’s Table – Connected to the Twinings Tea Shop and both are made to look like a house on the inside, but the Queen’s table is a little fancier. Here you can purchase scarves and bags for the ladies.
- Fancy Goods Lords and Ladies – Perfume, jewelry, bags, Marry Poppins goods and more. Another gem that can be found here is Precious Moments collectibles.
- The Toy Soldier – This gift shop is filled with a wide variety of things including United Kingdom attire, Dr Who specialities and Winnie the Pooh merch.
- Crown and Crest – Who loves Rock N Roll? If you’re a fan, you don’t want to miss this shop. Here you can find merch that includes bands such as The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Queen and more. This is a great spot to get a blast from the past in Epcot World Showcase.
- Sportsman Shop – For the sports fans, from UK football to golf and everything in between you can find a jersey here as well as Guinness accessories.
- Historical Research Center – Here a cast member can research your last name to tell you a little more about yourself and even take home a plaque with your heritage on it as well. Another neat find and available to purchase are swords of all shapes and sizes. Other accessories include Ireland and Scotland t-shirts.
- Kiosk out front to get beer/cider and house-made creps.
Entertainment
- Stage – If you’re a fan of live music then you have to check out the UK stage for the “British Invasion Band.” This band will do covers of your favorite 60’s Rock and Roll songs.
- Alice in Wonderland and Mary Poppins Meet and Greet. Occasionally, Winnie the Pooh can be spotted here too.
- Another thing the UK is great for would be photo ops. This country pavilion includes the Butterfly Garden as well as call box phone booths located throughout the area. Perfect for a cliché Insta-worthy pause.
Canada
Food and Beverage
- Le Cellier – As a dining spot with a dark interior, this restaurant is made to look and feel like you are in a cellar; hence the name “the cellar.” This restaurant also serves an assortment of foods, but mainly known for steak and poutine.
- Trading Post – A small area of the Canada pavilion represents this spot known for refreshments and beer. Also, served here is maple-flavored popcorn that tastes amazing.
- Joffrey’s Coffee Stand – Although, these are located at multiple spots throughout the park, you can find plenty of coffee, espresso, doughnuts and other special treats here.
ENTERTAINMENT
- The Mill Stage (L’estrade Du Moulin) will have performers playing traditional Canadian music and instruments more specific to them. In the past, this stage was used for a lumber-jack axe show but has since been replaced with this live music.
- “Oh, Canada” – Journey the land Grandeur in Circle-Vision 360 – This is a short film hosted by the Canada native Martin Short who offers some humor and vocals of Canadian Idol winner Eva Avila singing “Canada (You’re a Lifetime Journey).” This film shows off well-known places such as Niagra Falls, spots in Vancouver, Toronto and more all in 360 degrees of picture surrounding you.
- With tons of picturesque spots to choose from in Epcot World Showcase, Canada is not without mention. This spot offers a 30’ waterfall as a beautiful backdrop, along with the Victoria Gardens. It doesn’t have to be a certain time of year here, they’re always beautiful. Also, there are many decorated totem poles outside and a few interactive wooden animals outside the DVC (Disney Vacation Club) booth. These interactive animals will make noise if you touch their heart, or wherever the red circle is located on them. For example, the wolf will howl.
Shopping
- Northwest Mercantile Shop has a wide variety of one of a kind gowns and onesies for adults to choose from. On top of that, you can find moose munch, maple syrup, cookies, Canada attire, and much more. Not to mention for the sports fans, here you can find Canadian sports t-shirts such as lacrosse, curling and hockey.
- Merchandise Kiosks – One kiosk will be selling leather bracelets and baggage tags that you can have engraved. This small shop also offers a variety of pins and collectables to choose from. The second kiosk will be for popcorn and beer. Believe me, this is the popcorn stand you do not want to miss. Maple popcorn is the flavor and you won’t regret trying it.
